Low Calorie Diet Onion Rings
1 large onion, sliced
1 grissini breadstick
1 tablespoon 2% milk
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine milk, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper in a bowl. Grind grissini in food processor until it is a powder and put in a separate bowl. Place rings in batter bowl and toss to coat fully. Let sit in batter 2-3 min., then, toss again. Roll each ring in the grissini coating instead of tossing or shaking it on. Place on cookie sheet lined with non-stick aluminum foil. Cook 6-7 min., flip, and cook an additional 6-7 min. Serve immediately.
Servings: 1 vegetable serving, 1 breadstick, and your daily allotment of milk
Low Calorie Diet Roasted Asparagus
100 grams asparagus
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon cracked black pepper
To make this DIY Diet recipe, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut off the woody ends of the asparagus and place on a sheet of non-stick aluminum foil. Sprinkle the seasonings over top. Wrap all ends of the foil up tightly to make a sealed 'pocket'. Roast 15-20 minutes for the perfect asparagus that is allowed on most healthy weight loss plans.
Servings: 1 vegetable serving
DIY Diet Shrimp Stuffed Tomato
100 grams cooked shrimp
1 large tomato
½ of a lemon, juiced
1 tablespoon parsley
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
To make the DIY Diet Shrimp Stuffed Tomato, place 100 grams of cooked shrimp in food processor. Pulse a few times to chop up shrimp or, simply chop with sharp knife. In small bowl, combine chopped shrimp, parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate 30 – 60 minutes. When ready to serve, cut off top of tomato. Scoop out inside of tomato. Chop & combine inside of tomato with shrimp mix. (You may discard seeds if you like.) Fill tomato with shrimp mix. Top with a couple dashes of Simple Girl Hot Sauce (optional) and serve as a great tasting meal allowable on most fast weight loss diets.

DIY Diet Strawberry Smoothie
1 cup ice
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 packet Sweet Leaf Powdered Stevia
5 drops Sweet Leaf Valencia Orange Flavored Stevia
5 drops Sweet Leaf Vanilla Creme Flavored Stevia
To make the DIY Diet Strawberry Smoothie, combine ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth, and enjoy the fresh fruity taste.
